Never forget, nail color is an accessory too. I promise you, a ring on polished finger tips looks a whole lot different than on bare nails. Your nail paint color and make or break an outfit. No seriously, it's true. It's just as important as any classic accessory. Now I'm not saying change your color to make every outfit; please don't do this. Before long you'll find yourself to be a brittle nail haver.

What I am suggesting if you find a color that compliments many different things in your closet; and yes, you can still have fun with it. You don't have to stick to neutral colors. For instance, this sage-mint color was very big in the spring time and it actually is a great color for both light and dark skin tones. Teals and turquoises in general look good with just about anything and just about anyone.

Now you've probably heard the saying, "Never match your makeup with your outfit", but I picking up a few accessory pieces to match your accessory paint is always a great idea.
